TRSG, Inc.—A Technology Resource Services Group
For the past seven years, TRSG has worked for
several DoD laboratories and centers in the
areas of technology transfer, intellectual
property mining, outreach, and marketing to help
these organizations achieve their technology
transfer and commercialization goals. This
includes working with numerous SBIR companies on
behalf of our federal customers. The approaches that we have developed for the
federal government are equally effective for
private companies. The workshop on Protecting
Your SBIR Inventions, Technical Data and
Software will address important aspects of SBIR
intellectual property mining and protection that
are critical to a technology company’s success.
By limiting the offering to a very small group
in a workshop format, this material will be
readily understandable and usable. The material
will benefit any SBIR company regardless of the
particular phase of SBIR work. This includes
companies that have yet to receive a Phase I
award through companies at the Phase II and III
stage.
Workshop Coordinator—Blake Sajonia
The workshop will be conducted by TRSG
President, Mr. Blake Sajonia, a registered
patent attorney and professional engineer with
25 years of experience working in or for DoD
technology organizations. Mr. Sajonia’s
experience spans various technology
organizations and levels of R&D, from field
activities of the Naval Ocean Facilities Program
to laboratories within the Army’s Research,
Development and Engineering Command. His work
has led to the protection of commercially
valuable intellectual property and the formation
of numerous technology collaborations between
government and industry. Following the workshop,
Mr. Sajonia will be available for one-on-one
discussions with attendees.
