TRSG, Inc., headquartered just outside the nation’s capital in Gaithersburg, Maryland, is unique in that one of its objectives is to further the Federal Technology Transfer Program. Founded in May 2000 to advance the application of innovative technologies and the protection of intellectual property, TRSG offers a comprehensive suite of professional services to promote greater public access to federal science and technology programs.

Through its expertise in technology transfer and intellectual property protection, TRSG helps its clients—and by extension U.S. taxpayers—achieve greater return on their research and development investments. TRSG facilitates partnerships between and among government, academia and industry, delivering access to innovation that spurs economic development and enhances national security.

TRSG Law, LLC—a spin-off of TRSG, Inc.— was formed in September 2008 to provide IP legal services for patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret protection as well as the licensing of IP assets. Services include navigating the IP clauses under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Supplement to the FAR (DFARS), and Small Business Innovative Research Program (SBIR).
