TRSG, Inc., headquartered just outside the nation’s capital in Gaithersburg, Maryland, is unique in that it specializes in advancing the Federal Technology Transfer Program. Founded in May 2000 to advance the application of innovative technologies and the protection of intellectual property, TRSG offers a comprehensive suite of professional services to promote greater public access to federal science and technology programs.

Through its expertise in technology transfer and intellectual property protection, TRSG helps its clients—and by extension U.S. taxpayers—achieve greater return on their research and development investments. TRSG facilitates partnerships between and among government, academia and industry, delivering access to innovation that spurs economic development and enhances national security.

Among its many clients are the tenant organizations of the Aberdeen Proving Ground. TRSG was awarded a 5-year, $2.5M contract to open and operate a Business Development Office for the Aberdeen Proving Ground in Northeastern Maryland. Sponsored by the U.S. Army and the Harford County Office of Economic Development, this operation serves as a focal point for private sector access to world-class R&D laboratories and test centers.
